yes you can. simply add avax cchain on metamask and import wxt token.
why not use wirex wallet its easy.
just add token and type wxt and select avax. its on Cchain also 
you can connect also to DeFi to stake your WXT

Yes I use wirex wallet in beginning, but the app always show service unavailable and very slow response while open the app. Finally I use metamask till wirex wallet had improved
