Wirex x CardUp Singapore Promotion Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) shall apply to the Wirex x CardUp Singapore (the “Promotion”) which is offered by Wirex Pte Ltd in Singapore (“Wirex”) in association with CardUp Pte Ltd (“CardUp”):
Timescale
1. The Promotion will run from 18:00 (GMT+8) on 01 November 2021 until 23:59 (GMT+8) on 31 December 2021 (“Promotion Period”).
Eligibility
2. This Promotion is open to verified users of the Wirex Service only (as defined by the applicable Wirex terms & conditions: Wirex | Terms and policies) resident in Singapore (“Eligible Participants”, “you”, “your”). For the avoidance of doubt, no other users of the Wirex Service are eligible for this Promotion.
3. The Promotion applies to Eligible Participants who complete an online transaction of any value via the CardUp website (see clause 8) (“Qualifying Transaction”).
Reward
4. The Reward will be credited to all Eligible Participants who complete a Qualifying Transaction within the Promotion Period (“Qualifying Participants”).
5. The Reward will be paid to Qualifying Participants’ accounts based on the Wirex user’s X-tras subscription package:
a) within 30 Working Days at the end of each month from when the Standard Wirex users had made the Qualifying Transaction in the month;
b) Every Premium Wirex user will be paid 1% of the Reward instantly and the remaining 1% of the Reward will be paid within 30 Working Days at the end of each month from when the Premium Wirex user had made the Qualifying Transaction in the month; and
c) Every Elite Wirex users will be paid the Reward instantly.
6. Once a Qualifying Participant has received the Reward, it can be converted to traditional fiat currency through the Wirex Service at the Qualifying Participant’s sole discretion.
7. For the avoidance of doubt, completion of any registrations with the Wirex App before the Promotion Period will not be eligible to receive the Reward.
10. “Wirex App” means the Wirex application available on mobile, PC and tablet.
11. “Working Days” means Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and any public holidays when the banks of England are closed for business.
12. “WXT” means the Wirex Token on the Wirex Service.
13. The Reward will be calculated by an exchange rate set by Wirex from time to time in its absolute discretion. For the avoidance of doubt, the Reward will be distributed in WXT only and each Qualifying Participant will be eligible to receive the Reward only once.
14. The Reward amount may be varied at any time without notice to Eligible Participants, Qualifying Participants or any other third parties.
15. Wirex may, at its sole discretion, revise any of these Terms to terminate this Promotion at any time without prior notice to Wirex users, Eligible Participants or other third parties.
16. This Promotion is subject to additional terms and conditions that apply and govern the usage of the X-tras subscription. By opting to register for the Promotion, you agree to the terms and conditions Wirex | X-tras Programme Terms.
17. Wirex will only process personal information collected or received in connection with the Promotion as set out in its Privacy, Data Use and Retention Policy, which is available on by clicking the following link: Wirex | Privacy, Data Use and Retention Policy.
18. Subject to applicable law, Wirex will not under any circumstances be liable to compensate Wirex users, Eligible Participants or other third parties for any losses or damages occurring as a result of their participation or engagement with this Promotion.
19. The Terms of this Promotion are governed by the laws of England and the parties irrevocably agree that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear, settle and/or determine any dispute, controversy or claim (including any non-contractual dispute, controversy or claim) arising out of or in connection with this Promotion.
