October Refer A Friend Promotion RoW Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) shall apply to the October Refer A Friend Promotion (the “Promotion”) which is offered by Wirex Ireland Limited to the Rest of the World (“RoW”) (“Wirex”):
Timescale
1. The Promotion will run from 16:00 (BST) on 25 October 2021 until 23:59 (BST) on 31 October 2021 (“Promotion Period”).
Eligibility
2. By participating in this Promotion, you and any individual referred by you as part of this Promotion (the “Referred Users”) accept these Terms, along with our General Terms and Conditions (Wirex | Making currencies equal and available to everyone) and Privacy Policy (Wirex | Privacy Policy). The applicable General Terms and Conditions may vary depending on your country of residence. Do not participate in this Promotion if you do not wish to be bound by these Terms.
3. Only verified Wirex account holders resident in the Rest of the World (“RoW”) countries listed in Schedule 1 are eligible to act as referrers as part of this Promotion (“Eligible Participants, “you” or “Referrers”).
4. Under this Promotion, the Wirex account holder (the “Referrer”) is eligible to be considered for a Promotion Reward (as defined in clause 9(a)) and a Promotion e-Voucher equivalent to USD 10 (see clause 10).
5. Under this Promotion, any person who is referred by you to the Wirex Platform (“Friend” or the “Referred User”) is also eligible to be considered for a Promotion Reward.
6. A Referred User qualifies as such only when they have successfully registered with a Referral Link (as defined in clause 12), completed verification of their Wirex account in one of the countries listed in the RoW region and completed a Referral Action (as defined by clause 9(b)(i)) (the “Successful Referral”).
The Promotion Reward
7. To be entitled to receive the Promotion Reward, the Referrer must successfully refer one or more Referred Users using a Referral Link (as defined in clause 12) subject to the Referred User(s) successfully registering, completing verification for a Wirex account and by completing the Referral Action (as defined in clause 9(b)) with a minimum value of USD40 within the Promotion Period (the “Successful Referral”).
8. For the avoidance of doubt, any Successful Referral made before or after the Promotion Period will not count be eligible for the Promotion Reward.
9. Wirex will reward each Referrer and Referred User as follows:
1. The “Promotion Reward” for each Successful Referral will be calculated according to the following formula subject to the limitations on Promotion Reward distribution set out in clause 11 and Wirex’s update of the Promotion Reward terms from time to time:
Referrer: USD 15 in WXT x (No. of Successful Referrals) = Promotion Reward
Referred User: USD 15 in WXT when successfully registering, completing verification for a Wirex account and completing the Referral Action
2. “Referral Action” means the following:
1. “First Deposit”: completing a first cryptocurrency deposit from an external wallet into a Wirex account with a minimum value of USD 40.
3. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promotion Reward will only be awarded in WXT. The WXT amount will be subject to an exchange rate set by Wirex from time to time at Wirex’s sole discretion.
4. The Promotion Reward will be credited to the Referrer and Referred User’s Wirex WXT account within 30 Working Days of the end of the Promotion Period and you will receive an email confirming that it has been credited to your account.
5. The maximum amount of Referrals each Referrer can refer is five (5). Any further referrals will not be considered as eligible as part of this Promotion.
6. The Promotion Reward can be converted to traditional currency through the Wirex App after you have received it.
10. “Promotion e-Voucher” refers to a USD 10 equivalent voucher issued by Agoda pursuant to its terms and conditions at www.agoda.com/wirexredemption (“Agoda Terms”) that can be used at selected hotels pursuant to the Agoda Terms:
1. The e-Voucher entitles the holder to a discount of USD dollar value off on hotel room charges before any applicable taxes, fees or additional surcharges.
2. The discount will be reflected when valid promo code is keyed in at the booking page.
3. The Promotion is applicable for bookings of selected hotels (prepaid types only, not applicable for pay at hotel room types) made through a dedicated URL: www.agoda.com/wirexredemption with the promo code.
4. The discount is only applicable at selected hotels that have a “promo eligible” tag within the hotel room types search results.
5. Discount is applicable to hotel room charges only (local taxes, service fees and additional charges are excluded).
