How to transfer crypto from an external wallet
Select My Accounts in your Wirex app.
Select the account you would like to top up and tap Add Funds.
Select the cryptocurrency you want to add.
You’ll then see your cryptocurrency address/QR code, as well as the minimum and maximum limits and conversion rate.
Either scan the QR code or tap Copy to share the address with others.
You’ll receive funds to the generated address. (Note: you can only receive supported cryptocurrencies)
January Crypto Transfers Promotion EEA & APAC Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) shall apply to the January Crypto Transfers Promotion (the “Promotion”) which is offered by Wirex Digital LLC in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and by Wirex Pte Ltd in the Asia Pacific (“APAC”) (each separately referred to as “Wirex”):
1. The Promotion will run from 10:00 (GMT) on 20 January 2022 until 23:59 (GMT) on 23 January 2022 (the “Promotion Period”).
2. This Promotion is open to users of the Wirex Service only (as defined by the applicable Wirex General terms & conditions: https://wirexapp.com/en/terms-and-policies) resident in the EEA and APAC region (“Eligible Participants”, “their”). For the avoidance of doubt, no other users of the Wirex Service are eligible for this Promotion.
3. The Promotion applies to Eligible Participants who complete a cryptocurrency transfer from an external cryptocurrency wallet into a Wirex cryptocurrency account (see clause 3 (a) – (d)) during the Promotion Period. In order for each transfer to qualify as a Qualifying Transaction, it must meet the following thresholds:
1. Cryptocurrency transfer between EUR 100 – 499.99 (in the EEA) or USD 100 – 499.99 (in APAC); or
2. Cryptocurrency transfer between EUR 500 – 999.99 (in the EEA) or USD 500 – 999.99 (in APAC); or
3. Cryptocurrency transfer above EUR 1000 (in the EEA) or USD 1000 (in APAC)
(“each a Qualifying Transaction”).
4. Any Eligible Participants who complete their Qualifying Transactions prior to or after the Promotion Period will not be eligible to receive the Reward.
5. The Reward will be credited to Eligible Participants who complete a Qualifying Transaction within the Promotion Period (“Qualifying Participants”).
6. Eligible Participants will only be entitled to complete one Qualifying Transaction during the Promotion Period.
7. The Reward will not be calculated based on a cumulative deposit amount made over the Promotion Period. The Reward will be awarded based on the highest Qualifying Transaction made during the Promotion Period into Qualifying Participant’s WXT accounts. Wirex may amend or cancel this Promotion at any time in its absolute discretion.
8. Each Reward will be transferred to Qualifying Participants’ accounts within 30 Working Days of the end of the Promotion Period.
9. The Reward will be awarded in WXT only and credited to Qualifying Participant’s WXT accounts within the Wirex App. For the avoidance of doubt, each Eligible Participant will be entitled to receive one WXT Reward only.
10. Once a Qualifying Participant has received the Reward, it can be converted to traditional fiat currency through the Wirex Service at the Qualifying Participant’s sole discretion.
11. “EUR” means Euros.
12. “Reward” means Eligible Participants will be rewarded the following:
1. 10 EUR in WXT (in the EEA) or 10 USD in WXT (in APAC) if Eligible Participants complete a cryptocurrency transfer between EUR 100-499.99 (in the EEA) or USD 100-499.99 (in APAC); or
2. 30 EUR in WXT (in the EEA) or 30 USD in WXT (in APAC) if Eligible Participants complete a cryptocurrency transfer between EUR 500 -999.99 (in the EEA) or USD 500-999.99 (in APAC); or
3. 50 EUR in WXT (in the EEA) or 50 USD in WXT (in APAC) if Eligible Participants complete a cryptocurrency transfer above EUR 1000 (in the EEA) or above USD 1000 (in APAC).
13. “USD” means United States Dollars.
14. “Wirex App” means the Wirex mobile application which allows you to buy, store, exchange and spend a wide variety of traditional and digital currencies.
15. “Working Days” means Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and any public holidays when the banks of England are closed for business.
16. “WXT” means the Wirex Token on the Wirex Service.
17. Subject to applicable law, Wirex will not under any circumstances be liable to compensate Wirex users, Eligible Participants, Qualifying Participants or other third parties for any losses or damages occurring as a result of their participation or engagement with this Promotion.
18. Wirex will only process personal information collected or received in connection with the Promotion as set out in its Privacy, Data Use and Retention Policy, which is available on by clicking the following link: Wirex | Making currencies equal and available to everyone.
19. Wirex may, at its sole discretion, revise any of these Terms or terminate this Promotion at any time without prior notice to Wirex users, Eligible Participants, Qualifying Participants or other third parties in its absolute discretion.
20. This Promotion is launched by Wirex independently and there are no partnerships between Wirex and any merchant or other third parties relating to this Promotion.
21. The Terms of this Promotion are governed by the laws of England and the parties irrevocably agree that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear, settle and/or determine any dispute, controversy or claim (including any non-contractual dispute, controversy or claim) arising out of or in connection with this Promotion.
