The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) shall apply to the Wirex Verification Quiz Promotion (the “Promotion”) which is offered by UAB Wirex in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and by Wirex Pte Ltd in the Asia Pacific (“APAC”) region (each separately referred to as “Wirex”):
Timescale
1. The Promotion will run from 08:00(BST) on 21 June 2021 until 23:59(BST) on 23 June 2021 (“Promotion Period”).
Eligibility
2. This Promotion is only open to verified users of the Wirex Service (as defined by the applicable Wirex terms & conditions: Wirex | Making currencies equal and available to everyone) resident in the EEA or APAC regions who have an activated WXT account. (“Eligible Participants”). For the avoidance of doubt, no other users of the Wirex Service are eligible for this Promotion.
Promotion
3. To qualify for the Promotion, Eligible Participants must complete at least one of the following tasks:
a. on Twitter, users must: follow @wirexapp, retweet the Verification Post, and answer the question in the comment section.
b. On Facebook, users must: like the @wirexapp page, like the Verification Post, and answer the question in the comment section.
c. on Facebook, users must: like the @wirexsg page, like the Verification Post, and answer the question in the comment section.
d. on Instagram users must: like the @wirexsg page, like the Verification Post, and answer the question in the comment section.
(each a “Qualifying Task”)
4. Wirex will randomly select 4 Eligible Participants who have completed a Qualifying Task as the winners of this Promotion (“the Winners”)
5. The Winners will be contacted by private message from the relevant Wirex Social Media Platform.
6. Once a Winner is contacted by private message from a Wirex Social Media Platform, they will have to respond to the message confirming their Wirex registered email address within 48 hours to claim their prize or another Winner will be chosen (please note, Wirex will never ask for any other account details via social media message) (“Qualifying Action”).
Reward
7. A 2,000 WXT reward (the “Reward”) will be credited to each Winner who completes a Qualifying Action.
8. The Reward will be paid to each Winner’s WXT account within 30 Working Days of their Qualifying Action.
9. The Reward amount may be varied or cancelled by Wirex at any time without notice to Eligible Participants and Winners.
General
10. “Verification Post” means the verification edition giveaway post shared via a Wirex Social Media Platform, which states users may be able to win 2,000 WXT.
11. “Wirex Mastercard” means the Wirex debit card under the Mastercard card scheme issued in your EEA country of residence.
12. “Wirex Social Media Platform(s)” means any or all of:
13. “Wirex Visa Card” means the Wirex prepaid card under the Visa card scheme issued in Singapore.
14. “Working Days” means Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and any public holidays when the banks of England are closed for business.
15. This Promotion is in no way no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any of the Wirex Social Media Platforms.
16. Subject to applicable law, Wirex will not under any circumstances be liable to compensate Wirex Users, Eligible Participants or other third parties for any losses or damages occurring as a result of their participation or engagement with this Promotion.
17. The Reward amount may be varied at any time without notice to Eligible Participants, Winners or other third parties.
18. Wirex may, at its sole discretion, revise any of these Terms or terminate this Promotion at any time without prior notice to Wirex users, Eligible Participants or other third parties.
19. This Promotion is launched by Wirex independently and there are no partnerships between Wirex and any merchant or other third parties relating to this Promotion.
20. The Terms of this Promotion are governed by the laws of England and the parties irrevocably agree that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear, settle and/or determine any dispute, controversy or claim (including any non-contractual dispute, controversy or claim) arising out of or in connection with this Promotion.
