What’s on the agenda?

We’ll kick things off with a brief introduction to the event, which will touch on why it’s so important for women to work in the crypto sector.

Hear from the panellists

Next, you’ll hear from our six panellists, who will each give a 10-minute presentation on how their roles are impacting all things digital, blockchain and crypto.

Our very own PR & Events Manager, Lottie Wells, will conclude the event. Listen up for an exciting announcement about the Rising Women in Crypto Power List!

This is where you come in! Our panellists will answer any questions you have at the end of the event, so please make sure to submit them beforehand here on the Community Forum - in the comments section below.

Highly respectful to these womens.

Hi, I have a questions - 12 months is a long time in crypto  You did this event in 2020… so has anything changed in that time for the women featured?

I do! Over the last 12 months, do you feel the narrative is changing and you’re seeing more representation in your respective fields?

Some of the panellists aren’t working in crypto, they’re working with crypto. How would they describe attitudes in the financial industries towards the rise of crypto and DeFi? Are other market players feeling threatened or do they view it as an opportunity?

Financial services (conventional and otherwise) is still a total boys’ club. Is there something inherent in the technology of blockchain-powered payments that makes it a more equitable space for women?

Hi there - From your experience in the field, why do you think there are so few women who decide to invest in crypto? And what factors do you believe will have the biggest impact in changing this behaviour?

Hi, I have a question. What do you think is the most exciting thing about working in the crypto industry?

Hey! What do you think it’s going to be the next big thing in the crypto industry and how important do you think it is to have more women at the forefront of the industry going forward?

The uptake of BTC, as an example, has been faster than the advent of the internet. If we were to segregate the market into stratas, how would you define these groups and how would you tap into them as a part of this growing phenomenon?
